The Davis School District Board of Education

Davis School District will host a School Board & Parent Engagement Night from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26, at Farmington High School, 548 W. Glovers Lane, Farmington.

The event is open to parents and community members and is designed to provide an opportunity for meaningful input to the Davis School District Board of Education as it develops a new strategic plan that will help guide the district’s work moving forward.

The evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. with an exhibit hall in the cafeteria and commons area. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about district programs, services and resources available to students and families.

At 6 p.m., Brooke Romney, a Davis County writer, speaker and educator, will deliver the keynote address, “Meaningful Connection in a Disconnected World.” Romney is known for her work focused on strengthening family relationships and supporting student success.

Following the keynote address, parents and community members will be invited at 7 p.m. to engage in discussion with their school board representatives about the district’s new strategic plan and future priorities.
