Davis Adult Education was recognized this month with one of the highest honors granted by the Davis School District Board: Best Overall Program and Highest Measurable Gains in the State for 2025. The award, presented at the December 2 Board Meeting, highlights the remarkable academic growth, student achievement, and program excellence taking place within the DAE community.
The recognition reflects a program that continues to expand opportunity for adults across Davis County—whether they are completing a high school diploma, earning a GED, strengthening English language skills, or preparing for career advancement. Administrators credit the achievement to a collaborative effort among dedicated teachers, support staff, volunteers, and community partners who work tirelessly to support student success.
Davis Adult Education has seen consistent growth in both enrollment and measurable outcomes over the past several years. Staff members attribute these gains to a renewed focus on student-centered instruction, individualized support, and strong partnerships with local workforce agencies.
District leaders praised the program as a model for adult education statewide. For many students, DAE offers not only an academic pathway but also a fresh start, a renewed sense of confidence, and a clear track toward future goals. The Board’s award recognizes that impact and celebrates the transformative work happening every day at Davis Adult Education.
